Portuguese SNS 24 Helpline Nears Record Seven Million Calls

The SNS 24 helpline in Portugal is on track for its second-highest year ever, having received seven million calls. The 'Ligue Antes, Salve Vidas' project, aimed at reducing pressure on emergency services, has contributed to these numbers, with the line currently staffed by around 5000 health professionals.
