Prague Airport Repairs Main Runway, Causes Noise Disturbance

Václav Havel Airport Prague has begun repairs on its main runway, forcing aircraft to use a secondary runway directed towards the city. Residents in Ruzyně, Řepy, and Motol can expect increased noise levels until mid-August.

Letiště Václava Havla začalo opravovat hlavní runway. V důsledku toho musí letadla jezdit po vedlejší dráze, která je nasměrovaná směrem k Praze. Lidé v městských částech Ruzyně, Řepy nebo Motol tak mohou zhruba do poloviny srpna očekávat zvýšený hluk. Souběžně s opravou runwaye se plánuje také výměna LED návěstidel nebo rekonstrukce křížení drah.
