Prague Housing Estate to See Return of Stolen 'Frog' Statue After 18 Years

The Prague housing estate of Ďáblice will once again be adorned with the bronze 'Frog' statue by sculptor Vincenc Vingler, which was stolen by vandals eighteen years ago, with the city council commissioning its remake.

Pražské sídliště Ďáblice bude opět zdobit bronzový Žabák. Umělecké dílo sochaře Vincence Vinglera vzniklo v sedmdesátých letech. Před osmnácti lety ho ale ukradli vandalové. Letos by se socha měla znovu vrátit na místní fontánu poblíž koupaliště Ládví.
