Šumski požari u ovim vrelim avgustovskim danima doneli su veliku nesreću u Srbiji. Ugrožena je imovina građana, ugroženi su njihovi životi, smanjuje se količina odnosno površina zemljišta pod šumama, stvara se stanje panike i opšteg beznađa. Uništavanjem šuma uništavaju se prirodni proizvođači kiseonika.
