Qatar's energy company halts LNG production, natural gas futures prices rise

Qatar's state-owned energy company in the Middle East announced that it has halted LNG (liquefied natural gas) production after related facilities in the country were attacked. Concerns about stable supply increased in the European energy market, and natural gas futures prices temporarily rose to their highest level since February last year.
