Religious Tourism Accounts for 56% of Foreign Visitors to Iran in First Half of Year

Deputy Tourism Minister Anoushirvan Mohseni-Bandpey reported that spiritual travel destinations drew over one million visitors, representing more than half of the two million foreign tourists who arrived between March and August.
