Romania Establishes June 15 as National Day of Memory for 1990 Mineriad Victims
The Romanian Chamber of Deputies has adopted a bill to designate June 15 as the National Day of Memory for the victims of the 1990 Mineriad and the anti-democratic repression from June 13-15, 1990. The law now awaits promulgation.
