Rata șomajului, în formă ajustată sezonier, a coborât la 6,4% în iulie 2026, cu 0,4 puncte procentuale sub nivelul din iunie, a transmis marți Institutul Național de Statistică (INS) . În schimb, numărul persoanelor fără un loc de muncă a crescut cu 42.000 față de iulie 2025, iar rata șomajului în rândul tinerilor a ajuns la 30,8% în perioada aprilie-iunie.
