Romanian Chili Pepper Named After Simona Halep
A new hot chili pepper variety, created by researchers in Buzău, Romania, will be judged at the International Horticultural Congress in Japan. The pepper, named after tennis champion Simona Halep, has a pungency comparable to the current world champion Pepper X.
