Russia sentences historian Tamara Eidelman to eight years in prison in absentia for sharing ‘negative information about the USSR’s actions during WWII’

The Moscow City Court has sentenced historian Tamara Eidelman in absentia to eight years in prison on charges of “rehabilitating Nazism” and spreading “false information” about the military, the independent Russian news outlet Mediazona reported.
