An officer with Russia’s Aerospace Forces was shot in an assassination attempt in the Saratov region, according to Mash, Baza, and Shot, Telegram channels with ties to Russia’s security services. The officer was hospitalized in serious condition. Russia’s Investigative Committee, the country’s federal investigating authority, has opened a criminal case over the attempted murder, the Russian state news agency TASS reported.
