Sam Altman has commissioned seven custom Swiss watches from Vanguart for select OpenAI staff. Based on Vanguart's titanium Orb, which starts at $180,000, each carries the phrase COMPUTE IS DESTINY on the rotor and a line of Python code on the caseback. The Sam Altman watch is part of a wider Silicon Valley trend, with OpenAI, Google, Palantir and Uber staff commissioning custom Tudor timepieces.
