Sara Duterte’s camp: We want Madriaga alive
MANILA, Philippines — The legal team of Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday maintained she had nothing to do with the death threats reportedly received by Ramil Madriaga, who claimed to be her “bagman,” saying they actually want him to stay unharmed for an eventual confession. “VP Sara has nothing to do with any death threats against Madriaga. In fact, we want him alive so he can confess and reveal the truth,” Atty. Manases Carpio, Duterte’s lawyer, said in a statement.
