Scaffolding collapse injures one at Hokkaido construction site

One man was rescued and hospitalized after scaffolding collapsed at a construction site for an accommodation facility in Kutchan, Hokkaido, Japan. Police are investigating the incident in the Niseko resort area.

警察と消防によりますと、10日午前11時すぎ、北海道倶知安町にある宿泊施設の工事現場から「作業中に足場が崩れ、男性が下敷きになっている」と消防に通報がありました。男性1人が現場から救助され、病院に搬送されたということです。現場はスキー場や観光ホテルなどが建ち並ぶリゾート地のニセコエリアにあり、警察が詳しい状況を調べています。
