Spanish Regulator Blames Red Eléctrica for Major Blackout, System Risk
Spain's competition regulator (CNMC) has attributed the most serious fault of a recent blackout to Red Eléctrica, accusing it of endangering the system, and is also investigating several power plants belonging to Iberdrola, Endesa, Naturgy, and Repsol for non-compliance without risk to supply.
