Storms and Heavy Rains Increasingly Damage Property in Lithuania

A recent study initiated by Swedbank revealed that nearly one in four Lithuanian residents have experienced property damage due to natural phenomena in the past five years, indicating a significant increase in such incidents.

Per pastaruosius penkerius metus beveik kas ketvirtas Lietuvos gyventojas patyrė stichinių reiškinių sukeltų nuostolių savo turtui, parodė „Swedbank“ inicijuotas tyrimas. Statistika rodo, kad tokių atvejų sparčiai daugėja. „Swedbank“ draudimo bendrovės duomenimis, dėl įvairių gamtos stichijų sukeltų žalų 2026 m. pradžioje buvo išmokėta beveik 1,5 mln. eurų – tiek pat kiek per visus 2025 metus.
