Pupils at Jovina Gymnasium in Novi Sad refused to attend classes on the first day of the academic year to protest the recent firing of a teacher. The coordinated walkout highlighted mounting friction between the school administration and the local educational community.

Učenici Jovine gimnazije masovno bojkotuju prvi dan škole, zbog otpuštanja profesora. Pet profesora je ostalo bez posla, a pet suspendovanih nije vraćeno na njega. U znak podrške profesorima, učenici su se danas u 13.30 časova okupili ispred Mašinske škole, jedne od tri u kojima pohađaju nastavu, jer se njihova matična škola rekonstruiše.
