Suspect in Tochigi Robbery-Murder Purchased Weapon Before Incident
Investigators have found that a suspect, for whom an arrest warrant has been issued in connection with a robbery-murder in Kaminokawa Town, Tochigi Prefecture, purchased a crowbar believed to be the murder weapon at a home center in Kanagawa Prefecture before fleeing overseas. Police suspect an already arrested husband, who knew the suspect, received the crowbar and handed it to the high school students who carried out the crime.
