Damage to cables halts rail services in Calabria, sabotage suspected

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 9 - Train services in Calabria were suspended early on Thursday due to damage to network at several points caused by apparent acts of sabotage. Cables were cut along the Tyrrhenian line between San Lucido and Longobardo, and on the Ionian line between Cutro and Isola di Capo Rizzuto.
