Syria reports 111% surge in tourist arrivals during first half of 2026

Syria has reported a significant increase in tourist arrivals, with numbers more than doubling in the first half of 2026 compared to the previous year. The Statistics Authority at Syria indicated a 111% surge, reaching 3.52 million visitors.
