Quarterly unemployment rate falls to 7.9 percent

Türkiye’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined by 0.3 percentage points from the previous quarter to 7.9 percent in the April-June period, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said on Aug. 19.
