Uncertainty Over Albanians' Whereabouts in Syria-Iraq Conflict Zones

Following the government forces' takeover of Kurdish strongholds in northern Syria and the transfer of thousands of ISIS-linked prisoners to Iraq, new concerns have arisen regarding the fate of Western Balkan citizens who had traveled to the conflict zones.
