The US is reportedly increasing pressure on Cuba, with plans to indict 94-year-old Raúl Castro for his alleged role in the downing of two small planes by the Cuban army in 1996, when he served as defense minister. An expert suggests the US aims for Cuba to behave like Venezuela.

USA zvyšují tlak na Kubu. Chystají se vznést obvinění proti 94letému Raúlu Castrovi, který býval lídrem karibské země. Důvodem je sestřelení dvou malých letadel kubánskou armádou v roce 1996, kdy byl Castro ministrem obrany. Americký prezident Donald Trmp chce, aby se Kuba chovala podobně vstřícně jako teď Venezuela, říká Martin Rey, odborník na dění v Latinské Americe. „USA budou chtít uspět, ta hrozba je reálná,“ dodává pro Radiožurnál.
