"Valerie's Law" on Parental Guardianship Passes First Dáil Stage
Legislation known as "Valerie's Law," designed to prevent a parent who has killed their child's other parent from automatically retaining guardianship rights, has successfully passed its first stage in the Dáil. The law is named in memory of Valerie French.
