Valuable 16th-Century Crucifix Returns to Croatian Island
After years of restoration, a valuable 16th-century Renaissance crucifix by a renowned Venetian master, along with an original 15th-century painting frame, has been returned to the Church of St. Mary on the small Croatian island of Žirje.
