Voice Phishing Scam Causes ¥1.3 Billion Loss for Japanese Companies
A series of 'voice phishing' incidents have resulted in approximately 1.3 billion yen in fraudulent transfers from over 30 companies using internet banking in Japan. Police are investigating the scam, where employees were tricked into installing remote control software.
