Volunteers from around the world restore wetlands in Šumava National Park

Dozens of international volunteers are currently assisting with wetland restoration efforts in the Šumava National Park in the Czech Republic. Their work, including clearing reeds from peat bogs, helps retain more water in the protected area.

S obnovou mokřadů v Národním parku Šumava právě teď pomáhají desítky dobrovolníků z mnoha zemí světa. Díky jejich práci se daří na mnoha místech chráněného území zadržovat víc vody. Zaměřují se například na rákosem zarostlé rašeliniště nedaleko Knížecích Plání na Prachaticku.
