Washington D.C. Streets Transformed into Race Track for IndyCar Event
As part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of American independence, streets around the Capitol in Washington D.C. were transformed into a race track for one day. Twenty-five IndyCar vehicles raced at speeds over 300 km/h during the 'Freedom 250 Grand Prix' event.
