Ambasador USA w Paryżu Charles Kushner nie stawił się na wezwanie francuskiego Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych. W reakcji szef dyplomacji Jean-Noel Barrot "zażądał, by nie miał on już bezpośredniego dostępu do członków rządu Francji".
