WHO and Europe Urged to Declare Climate Change a Public Health Emergency

Ahead of the 79th World Health Assembly, an independent commission is calling on the WHO to officially declare climate change a "public health emergency of international concern." The commission is also urging Europe to address the health consequences of climate change.
