Íránští zástupci během dřívějších jednání se Spojenými státy prohlásili, že mají 460 kilogramů na 60 procent obohaceného uranu, který by mohl být použit k výrobě jedenácti atomových bomb, řekl stanici Fox News americký zmocněnec Steve Witkoff. Ten se společně se zetěm amerického prezidenta Jaredem Kushnerem zúčastnil nepřímých jednání s íránskými vyjednávači, které ale nevedly k dohodě a USA s Izraelem o víkendu na Írán vojensky zaútočily.
