Women Begin Voluntary Military Service in Ivalo, Finland, for First Time
Sonja Kumpumäki, 21, made history in Ivalo, Finland, as women for the first time began voluntary military service in the Ivalo border jäger company. Previously, inadequate shower facilities had prevented women from serving there.
