World Bank Estimates Venezuela Earthquake Damages at Nearly $20 Billion
The World Bank has estimated that the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24 caused direct physical damages amounting to $19.6 billion. The cost of reconstruction, however, could be double or even higher.
