The Zvartnots-Yerevan airport terminal, considered an icon of Soviet modernism, is at risk of demolition as Armenian authorities seek to remove the building from the register of historical monuments.

Władze Armenii chcą usunąć budynek z rejestru zabytków, to może otworzyć drogę deweloperom do wyburzenia obiektu, który uchodzi za jeden z najsłynniejszych – i najlepiej zaprojektowanych – tego typu obiektów na terenie dawnego ZSRR.
