Zurich Canton Bans Fires and Fireworks Due to Drought

Due to persistent drought, the Canton of Zurich has prohibited fires and fireworks in forests and near them for August 1st, with many municipalities extending the ban to their entire territory. Charcoal grills are also forbidden.

Wegen der anhaltenden Trockenheit gilt das Verbot vielerorts gar auf dem ganzen Gemeindegebiet. Auch Kohlegrills müssen kalt bleiben.
