Did the Kremlin's spokesman really say that they were never friends with Orbán?

Although it has been widely reported in the press, it appears that the Kremlin spokesperson didn't actually say, “We were never friends with Orbán,” even though this can certainly be inferred from recent statements. However, this merely reflects the Kremlin’s standard operating procedure, and its interest in promoting an image of continued cooperation.
