Italy puts forward ex-agriculture minister Martina to head FAO
(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 23 - Italy is putting forward the name of former agriculture minister Maurizio Martina to be the new Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida said in Brussels on Monday.
