Many Latvian Saeima Election Candidates from Latgale Do Not Reside in the Region
In the 15th Saeima elections, there are fewer candidates from the Latgale region compared to four years ago, and nearly a quarter of them do not actually live in the region, with some parties having a majority of their Latgale list composed of non-residents.
