Approximately 500 Arctic Char Escape from Icelandic Aquaculture Facility

Around 500 Arctic char, each weighing approximately 600 grams, escaped from Matorka ehf.'s land-based aquaculture facility in Grindavík, Iceland, last weekend. The Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority was notified of the escape.
