Free entry to Maribor Island due to heatwave

Due to high temperatures, entry to the Mariborski otok swimming area is free today and Thursday, an initiative by the Maribor Municipality to help citizens cope with the heat.

Zaradi visokih temperatur je danes in v četrtek vstop na kopališče Mariborski otok brezplačen. Ukrep je po navedbah Mestne občine Maribor in podjetja Šport Maribor iz Javnega holdinga Maribor namenjen temu, da se lahko občanke in občani v času vročinskega vala osvežijo ter lažje premagajo visoke poletne temperature.
